Baracaxi is built to preserve personal stories with care. This policy explains the public-facing basics of what information we collect, why we use it and the choices you have.
Information you provide
When you create an account, we may ask for your name, date of birth, gender, country and a mobile number or email address. We use this information for account creation, security, recovery, age-appropriate handling, country-specific requirements and personalization.
If you create Baracaxis, collections, circles, notes or other museum content, you choose what to add. That may include text, images, audio, video, language context, visibility choices and the people or memories connected to a piece.
Information collected automatically
We may collect basic technical information needed to keep Baracaxi reliable and secure, such as browser or device type, session activity, approximate region, error reports, security events and cookie or similar identifiers required for login and account protection.
How we use information
We use information to provide the service, protect accounts, recover access, sync your experience across devices, personalize your museum, enforce visibility choices, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
Sharing and visibility
Your Baracaxis can be private, shared with selected circles or public depending on the visibility you choose. We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help operate Baracaxi, and when required for legal, safety or security reasons.
Children, age and country
Date of birth and country help us apply age-appropriate experiences and legal requirements. Baracaxi should not be used by children unless the required consent and protections for their location are in place.
Your choices
You can update account details, adjust visibility, remove content, request help with access or ask questions about your information by contacting support@baracaxi.com.
